Verse of The Day: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV
“Pray without ceasing”
The church has been entrusted with the sacred mission of intercession. Just as Jesus prayed for us, we are called to pray for others—bringing their needs, struggles, and sins before the throne of grace. Prayer is not a mere duty but a privilege extended to us through Christ’s sacrifice. The veil has been torn, and the door to God’s presence is open wide. Do we fully embrace this honour, or do we allow it to remain underutilised?
Every moment brings a reason to pray: for the weak to be strengthened, for the lost to be saved, for the wandering to return, and for the church to remain steadfast. The needs are vast, and the opportunities to intercede are endless. Whether for a struggling loved one, the proclamation of the gospel, or the healing of nations, the church is called to stand in the gap. If we fail to pray, we neglect the very heart of our mission. Let us, individually and collectively, be vigilant and constant in prayer, casting our cares and the world’s burdens into God’s hands.
May the church rise to the call of unceasing prayer, being faithful to intercede for the world and to fulfill her commission in Christ.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, Teach us, as Your church, to be faithful in intercession for the world, for our brothers and sisters, and for those who do not yet know You. May we never neglect the commission You have given us, but stand steadfast in prayer for Your glory.
