Verse of the Day: Mark 2:4 NKJV
“And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.”
Faith is never limited by obstacles. In the story of the paralysed man, the house was packed, and a crowd blocked every entrance, but faith found a way to bring him to Jesus. When ordinary methods failed, the men used extraordinary ones, removing the roof tiles to lower their friend directly before the Lord. They didn’t worry about propriety or the risks involved—Jesus was there, and they were determined that their friend would receive healing and forgiveness.
This story challenges us to be bold and inventive in our efforts to bring others to Christ. When we can’t reach people through conventional ways, we must be willing to think outside the box, even if it means taking risks or facing criticism. Faith dares to venture where others won’t, and love compels us to act when the need is urgent.
The world is constantly inventing new solutions for human needs. Shouldn’t our faith be just as creative in reaching the lost? Jesus is present with us today, just as He was with those four friends. If we’ve experienced His grace and healing, we should be driven to break through any barriers to bring others to Him. No method is too risky or improper when faith and love are focused on rescuing souls.
