Verse of The Day: Ephesians 1:4-5 NKJV
“just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will”
We belong to the Lord in every sense—by His sovereign choice, by His sacrificial purchase, and by His conquering love. He chose us not because of our goodness or merit but purely out of His love and mercy. It is by His grace alone that we are counted among His own.
Not only are we His by election, but He paid the highest price to redeem us. Through His blood shed on the cross, He secured our freedom and silenced all claims against us. Our debt is paid in full; we bear the invisible but eternal mark of His ownership. "The Lord knows those who are His," and He never forgets those He has redeemed.
We are also His by conquest. Before surrendering to Him, we resisted, building walls of pride and self-will. Yet, in His relentless mercy, He overcame our defences. His love broke through, and He claimed our hearts as His own. Now, as those chosen, purchased, and conquered, we gladly acknowledge that we are no longer our own but His forever. Our daily desire is to honour Him and declare His glory.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing us, redeeming us through Your precious blood, and conquering our resistant hearts with Your love. Teach us to live as Yours, fully surrendered and joyfully serving, that we may bring glory to Your name.
