Verse of the Day: Isaiah 52:1 NKJV
“Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you.”
Each day, we are called to put on the strength of Christ, not by earning it or creating it ourselves, but by receiving it from Him. As we step into the challenges of life, where we may have faced failure before, we are invited to clothe ourselves with the power of the living Christ. He offers us strength, not in small portions, but "according to the riches of His glory." Instead of merely asking for help, we are urged to put on the full armour of God, knowing that He is the strength of our lives.
We are also called to put on the beautiful garments of a life transformed by grace. Just as a bride or a garden is adorned with beauty, so should our actions reflect compassion, kindness, and humility. It’s not enough to do the right things; we must do them with grace, love, and joy. The beauty we are called to display is the beauty of the Lord upon us, and this adornment comes not from ourselves, but from Christ, who supplies us with all we need for a life of righteousness.
