Verse of The Day: 1 Corinthians 10:11
“Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.”
It is easy to think of past stories in Scripture as distant history, but they were preserved for a reason. Every victory, every failure, every moment of faith or doubt carries a quiet lesson meant for us today. These accounts are not just records, they are reminders. They gently warn us where pride can lead and encourage us where trust in God brings life.
Sometimes we repeat mistakes simply because we forget. We rush ahead, rely on our own strength, or ignore that inner nudge calling us back to God. Yet these stories invite us to pause and consider. They show that God remains faithful even when people are not.
You are living in a time filled with choices and distractions. Still, God has not left you without guidance. His Word speaks, not to condemn, but to direct your steps with wisdom and care.
Reflection:
What patterns from your life feel familiar in these biblical stories? Are there areas where God is gently calling you to choose differently?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the lessons You have given through Your Word. Help me to learn from what has come before instead of repeating the same mistakes. Give me a heart that listens and a spirit that follows Your truth. Guide my steps today so that my life reflects Your wisdom and grace. Amen.
