Verse of the Day: Galatians 5:18 NKJV
“But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”
When we examine ourselves by the standard of the law, it can only lead to despair. No one can stand justified before God based on personal perfection. But how wonderful it is to know that we are under grace, not the law! The crucial question is not, "Am I without sin?" but, "Am I washed in the blood of Christ?" It is not, "Am I flawless in my own actions?" but, "Am I accepted through Jesus?"
Often, believers become anxious when they focus on their own weaknesses and doubts. They might worry, "Is my faith strong enough?" or "Is my hope pure enough?" But the security of our salvation doesn’t rest on our abilities or performance. Instead, it rests on Christ, who is perfect and unfailing. If we focus on Him—the solid rock of our faith and hope—we can be confident, for His promises stand firm, regardless of our struggles.
Satan often tries to steal our peace by pointing out our flaws and failures. But we must refuse to be burdened by the weight of self-condemnation. Instead, we should live in the freedom of the gospel, where we are accepted because of what Christ has done, not because of what we can achieve. True peace comes from looking to Jesus, not to ourselves.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to rest in Your grace and not in my own efforts. When doubts arise, remind me to focus on Your perfect work and not my imperfections. Lead me into the freedom of the gospel, where my hope is secure in You.
