Verse of the Day: Psalm 25:4
“Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.”
Life constantly places us at crossroads; choices, pressures, and uncertainties demanding quick answers. In those moments, faith is not about rushing ahead but about slowing down. God does not merely want to give directions; He desires to shape our understanding. When we ask Him to guide us, we are admitting that our insight is limited, and His wisdom is complete.
Waiting on God is not passive. It is a posture of trust that says, “I believe You know what I cannot see.” As we submit our plans, attitudes, and timing to Him, He trains our hearts to recognise truth. Over time, His guidance becomes less about signs and more about transformation. We begin to walk differently because we think differently.
God’s leading always aligns with His character; faithful, loving, and redemptive. When we allow Him to teach us, He forms a life anchored in hope rather than fear. The journey may be slow, but it will always be secure.
Reflection
Where am I relying on my own understanding instead of God’s instruction? What does waiting on God look like in my current season?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, redirect my heart toward Your wisdom. Train me to trust Your timing and follow Your truth. Shape my steps so my life reflects Your purpose. Amen.
