Secure in Christ

Verse of the Day: Ephesians 1:3

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”

Before time began, heaven already held your name. Your life is not an accident or an afterthought. Through Christ, you were intentionally invited into a relationship marked by closeness, purpose, and grace. This calling was never about earning approval; it flows from divine delight. God’s plan was always to shape a people who reflect His character and live securely in His love. When doubts rise or identity feels shaky, remember that your acceptance is anchored in Christ, not performance. Gratitude becomes our natural response when we realise how generously we have been included. Our story ultimately points beyond ourselves, shining light on the beauty of God’s mercy.

This truth helps us stay strong in everyday life. When things feel uncertain or people’s opinions affect us, we can remember what God has already said about us. Our value does not come from what we do, but from His love. Knowing this helps us follow God with joy instead of fear. As we stay close to Christ, our lives show others the hope and grace we have received.

Reflection

How would my attitude change if I truly lived knowing my value comes from God, not my actions? In what simple way can my life reflect Christ’s hope to others today?

Prayer

Father, thank You for choosing me long before I could choose You. Help me rest in the truth that I belong to You. Shape my heart to mirror Your love and guide my steps toward a life that honours You. Let my words and actions bring joy to Your name. Amen.
