Faith That Loves
Verse of The Day: Galatians 6:9
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
Doing the right thing does not always produce immediate results. You can pray faithfully and still wait. You can serve people sincerely and feel unnoticed. You can keep giving, encouraging, forgiving, showing up, and obeying God while wondering whether any of it is making a difference.
Galatians 6:9 speaks directly to that tired place in our hearts. Paul does not pretend that doing good is always easy. His words acknowledge that weariness can come even when we are walking in obedience.
The danger is not simply becoming tired. The greater danger is allowing tiredness to convince us to stop.
God reminds us that there is a season between sowing and reaping. A farmer does not abandon the field because nothing appears the morning after planting. Beneath the soil, something is happening long before the harvest becomes visible.
In the same way, your obedience may be producing results you cannot yet see. God sees every prayer, every act of kindness, every sacrifice, every moment of integrity, and every decision to remain faithful.
Do not measure the value of your obedience only by immediate outcomes. Some things require time.
Keep doing what God has placed before you. Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep loving. Keep trusting.
The harvest has a season. And sometimes the breakthrough comes simply because you refused to quit before it arrived.
Reflection:
Is there an area where you have become discouraged because you have not yet seen the results you expected?
Prayer:
Father, strengthen me when I become tired of waiting and doing what is right. Help me not to abandon the things You have called me to do simply because I cannot yet see the results. Give me grace to remain faithful in prayer, service, obedience, generosity, and love.
